Jones-Hamilton Co. was named as a winner of the CSX Chemical Safety Excellence award for the third time due to their outstanding contribution to the safe transportation of hazardous materials. The award was created to celebrate companies who understand and consistently practice a strong commitment to safe rail car loading and maintenance.
The company previously received this award in 2018 and 2021. “Our focus on safety has never waivered, and we’re pleased to accept the 2022 CSX Chemical Safety Excellence award,” said Jones-Hamilton Co. President & CEO, Tim Poure.
More than 600 carloads of materials must be shipped annually without experiencing a non-accident release to be eligible for this award. Jones-Hamilton Co. qualifies for their shipment of HCL.
