Jones-Hamilton Co. announces the launch of SurpHace™, a rebrand that brings together the company’s proven pH and ammonia control products for dairy and beef operations under a single product name. SurpHace replaces BeefUp and ParlorPal, delivering the same trusted environmental control but positioned to serve the broader livestock market.
SurpHace is designed to lower surface pH in manure packs, bedding, footbath water and high-traffic areas, helping reduce ammonia volatilization and limit conditions that support bacterial proliferation. The product can be used in dairy, beef, and other confined livestock operations to improve barn conditions, and support animal health and welfare.
“Jones-Hamilton has more than 30 years of experience applying chemistry to real-world manure management challenges,” said Michael Putnam, Vice President of the Jones-Hamilton Agricultural Division. “By bringing BeefUp and ParlorPal together as SurpHace, we’re simplifying our portfolio and reinforcing our commitment to serving the entire livestock industry with one proven, science-backed solution.”
Originally developed through cross-species collaboration between poultry, dairy and beef professionals, the technology behind SurpHace has been evaluated in multiple livestock environments. The product is available in 50-pound bags and 2,000-pound super sacks.
