Production Material Handler

Jones-Hamilton Co., a manufacturer and distributor of chemical products used in food processing, agriculture, consumer, and industrial product markets is seeking full time Production Material Handler for the Richburg, SC facility from 12 noon to 8:30 p.m. (Monday to Friday).

What You’ll Do

Production Material Handler Responsibilities:

• Responsible for packaging and warehouse areas
• The Production Material Handler will load and unload railcars and trucks.
• The Production Material Handler will load trucks, complete paperwork.
• The Production Material Handler will align valves, set up trucks and railcars.
• Inspect connections and fill trucks to their capacity.
• The Production Material Handler will ensure quality requirements are met.
• Ability to read and interpret customer requirements when filling packages.

Who You Are

Production Material Handler Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• A minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
• Must be able to pass the required 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and participate on the site’s Emergency Response Team.
• Must be doctor-certified to wear a variety of respirators or masks
